Montana Bike Commuter Challenge

Cycling, a fun and healthy way to get form here to there!

Bicycling is an excellent form of low impact cardiovascular exercise. For many, it is an excellent rehabilitation activity for knees, hips and SI joints. Bicycling is a great excuse to get outdoors for your exercise, which has added health benefits beyond exercise alone.

Bozeman is a relatively small community. Using the designated bike routes, lanes and paths provided by the city, a person can get form one side of town to the other in about 20 minutes, or less if you are willing to break a sweat. The doctors at Gallatin Valley Chiropractic would like to invite you to bike to and from work and around the community.  A fun way to make this a habit and to team up with coworkers is to join the Montana Bike Commuter Challenge, which runs from May 1st-31st.

In addition to the commuter challenge, "Bike to Work Week" in Bozeman, hosted by the Gallatin Valley Bike Club, is May 16-20th. There will be social activities, treats and raffles at morning and afternoon stops this year.  Morning stops (6:45-9AM) include Rockford Coffee, Sola Cafe, Cold Smoke Coffehouse, The Daily Coffee Bar, and the Community Food Co-op. Afternoon stops (4:45-7PM) include Bozeman Brewing, Bridger Brewing, Outlaw Brewing, 406 Brewery, and Map Brewery.

With all the fun and incentives to cycling, we hope to see you out there. If you find yourself sore or needing care, come on in to Gallatin Valley Chiropractic; we'll get you straightened out and feeling right!
