Dispose of Unused, Unwanted, or Expired Meds

Prescription drug abuse is a serious health concern. Most of the abused prescription drugs come from the medicine cabinets of friends and family. Many people hold onto medications far past the expiration date and it is these expired medications that sit in the medicine cabinet benignly that are often pilfered and used illegally.

This Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10am-2pm, is the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. You can bring your expired or unused medications and drop them off, no questions asked many locations throughout the nation. Here in Gallatin County the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office/ Bozeman City Police/Law and Justice Center, at 615 S. 16th Ave in Bozeman, is the drop off location. For environmental reasons the trash and the toilet are not good options for disposing of medications; so, this is a great opportunity to clean house and help make our community safer.

Your doctors at Gallatin Valley Chiropractic invite you to get rid of you unused, unwanted or expired medications in a safe and risk free manner this Saturday.
